Common symptoms of cocaine withdrawal:
- Vivid or unpleasant dreams
- Increased appetite
A person abusing cocaine may also initially feel guilty and ashamed when they are withdrawing from the cocaine. They make promises to themselves and others that they won’t ever abuse cocaine again and that they won’t use again. However, because cocaine tends to be a “binge drug”, many people find themselves giving in to the cravings for cocaine and thus return to the cycle of binging and withdrawal again and again.
If you or someone you know is struggling with cocaine addiction, New Dimensions can help.
